Brookfield Properties acquired this property with an existing restaurant in the Gaslamp District in San Diego and embarked on a multi million dollar remodel that included multiple F&B outlets. We conceptualized, budgeted, and trained staff for three distinct outlets within the hotel and worked with designer Indidesign to design The Cafe at Alma, a causal, all-day cafe, The Desmond, a destination fine-dining restaurant featuring world-inspired California cuisine, and LoA, a California chic inspired pool deck serving wood fired flat breads and Mediterranean fare.
